CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) CLOSURE
04/01/20
THE JAMESTOWN COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Under the direction of the Jamestown Emergency Management team, the distribution of food resources to the food insecure in Jamestown during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will be coordinated from one central location at the Jamestown Senior Center on 6 West St. In conjunction with this process, all food distribution from the Jamestown Community Food Pantry site will be temporarily suspended.
To receive a food distribution, please contact Betsey Anderson at 423-9804 with any questions about the new procedure and to place an order for food to be delivered. As part of this new process, the Jamestown Police Department will coordinate home delivery of all food to residents in need.
All food donations to the Jamestown Community Food Pantry have been transferred to the central location at the Senior Center and will be used to support Jamestown residents in need as intended.
Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity in your support of the JCFP and our community. We look forward to the time when the COVID-19 virus is no longer a threat and we can once again distribute food from the JCFP to our neighbors and friends. We will miss you all and hope we will be able to continue our community support soon.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
